Monty (Brody Montag) is a house and indie-dance DJ and producer from New Jersey, based in the DMV. He has played Somewhere Nowhere, Zebbie's Garden and Soundcheck, and supported artists including Martin Ikin, Biscits and Öwnboss. His sets run on warm basslines and crisp percussion, built for forward motion without losing subtlety.

He came up on Monstercat and OWSLA, played piano, oboe, viola and drums, and started producing in GarageBand at ten, with Algoriddim's djay alongside. Around twelve he moved to FL Studio and Rekordbox and made hip-hop beats for local artists on commission. At the University of Maryland he returned to DJing and to crate-digging: deep house, minimal and disco-leaning cuts.

Research in signal processing and machine learning shapes how he produces and plays. As PB&J's co-founder and lead organizer, he runs planning and strategy.
