Visual Direction & Tech
Blending visual creativity with technical expertise to turn any space into an electric atmosphere for dance music
Jack has always been a tech nerd who lives by the motto 'work hard, rave harder.' He got his start in the event production world in 2021, throwing parties for fraternity brothers and friends alike. But in 2024, Jack decided he wanted something more... something that combined his love for dance music and lighting design. That's when he teamed up with Peter and Brody to form PB&J. As the spatial illumination guru of the group, Jack is responsible for creating the light shows and immersive environments that have become a hallmark of PB&J's live performances. He draws inspiration from the countless raves and music festivals he's attended over the past 6 years, always paying attention to the visual effects that are quintessential to the dance music experience. In particular, Jack has his own mobile lighting rig that he's been building over the past two years, and he uses it for PB&J events and for collaboarting with other local event producers.
June 2025
Jack rented a truck and hauled all of his gear down to Tennessee to set up an insane stage for his 125-person campsite. When Bonnaroo got cancelled due to weather, Jack threw an 18 hour rave for the devastated campers, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable events of the year.

March 2025
To celebrate the 1 year anniversary of PB&J, Jack went all out in his house with a disco-themed party. The lighting, video and crowd was sublime, and it represented the first true coming together of the truss setup.

April 2025
We partnered with a apartment building to throw a rooftop party for 70 people, complete with a full suite of production gear including lights, sound, and DJs.

January 2025
Jack setup his full truss system in a friend's house for an intimate dance party. The lighting design transformed the living room into a vibrant dance floor, setting the precendent for future production to come.
October 2025
Jack and Brody teamed up to provide a full suite of production at a friend's wedding on the Eastern Shore of MD. We danced the night away and we can officially say 'Yea, we're wedding DJs now' (jk)

September 2025
When Jack moved to DC, he setup his lighting rig in his new office space and had friends over to show off the new apartment and lighting scenes. It was a great way to pregame for our Echostage debut :)
